We build websites for small businesses and write the pages that help them show up on Google. Once your site is live, we can look after it for you too.
01 Where we start
A lot of the small business websites we look at have the same problems. There's one services page trying to cover everything, the page titles are just the company name, and the site is slow to load on a phone. Google doesn't have much to work with, so it shows someone else. That's usually where we start.
02 Services
You can book any of these on their own. Most people start with a new website, but we're happy to write for or maintain a site someone else built.
We design and code each site ourselves, based on what your customers want to know before they call. It loads quickly on a phone and is set up properly for Google.
We write service pages, area pages and articles based on what people in your area are searching for. They're written for your customers first, with the technical SEO set up correctly.
A monthly plan covering updates, backups and uptime checks. When something on your site needs changing, you send it to us and we take care of it.

04 Process
We spend more time on research and planning than most people expect. It's what decides which pages your site needs.
We look at what people in your area search for, which businesses come up, and what their pages do well.
We use that to map out the pages your site needs. That's usually one for each service and one for each main area you cover.
We write the copy and code the site, then test it on a few different phones. Hosting is set up on Cloudflare.
After launch we check rankings and speed each month, keep things updated and add new pages when it makes sense.
05 Included
We write the code ourselves instead of using a page builder, so pages stay small and load quickly.
Every page is checked against Google's Core Web Vitals on an ordinary Android phone before launch.
Schema markup tells search engines what your business does and which areas you serve.
Readable text, labelled buttons and keyboard support, following the WCAG guidelines.
Sites run on Cloudflare with SSL included. For a small business site, hosting costs very little.
The domain, code and content are in your name. If you ever switch to someone else, it all goes with you.
06 FAQ
We give you a fixed price before we start. It mostly depends on how many pages you need and how much writing we're doing. The price only changes if you ask us to add something.
Usually three to six weeks from our first call to launch. The writing and back-and-forth on wording tend to take longer than the actual build.
Usually not. We build lightweight sites hosted on Cloudflare. They load faster and need far fewer security updates than a typical WordPress site. If you'd rather stay on WordPress, we can still write your pages and work on your SEO.
Google usually picks up new pages within a few days. For competitive searches, it's normally three to six months before rankings settle. Smaller local searches, like a service in one particular suburb, often move faster.
Yes. If your site is in decent shape, fixing it is often the better option. We offer SEO writing and maintenance for sites someone else built.
You do. The domain, the code and the content are all yours, and you'll have the logins from day one.
